Crowdstrike is apologizing to the contractors who are managing to fix their disastrous software update
that caused global outages – with a $10 UberEats gift card.
Millions of computers went out on Friday, leaving those unable to work, catch flights and more.
In an email to its contractors, Crowdstrike wrote, “To express our gratitude, your next cup of coffee or late night snack is on us!” with a link to a $10 UberEats voucher – that some contractors say was quickly taken offline and doesn’t work.
