A “Maybe I Should Have Just Gotten A Medicure” Stupid Criminal Story

Here’s a “gullible” Stupid Criminal Story to make you feel better about yourself . . . a man in Texas tried to rob a Family Dollar, but was told the register wouldn’t open unless he bought something. So he tried to buy nail clippers, but the clerk forced the register shut, and the thief stormed out. The clerk called the police, and the cops caught up with him. He admitted to pretending to have a firearm in an attempt to rob the place, and was charged with robbery and resisting arrest. As he was being loaded into the cop car he was overheard saying “Nail Clipper?!?!?! I shoulda got a Slim Jim!” (Okay, I can’t back that last part up.)
