Traveling with Kids?
If you’re driving more than three or four hours with your kids for Thanksgiving, you might want to break it up into two days. A poll of parents with kids under 12, found “peak stress” hits three-and-a-half hours into traveling. One in eight said within the first hour. 60% said traveling with their kids is the most stressful part of the holidays. 28% of parents would rather listen to “Baby Shark” for the whole trip than travel with a screaming child (13% would rather get a root canal). The top strategies for dealing with a fussy kid are to give them unlimited screen time . . . and bribe them with junk food.
