‘Dangerously Cold’ Arctic Air Will Hit Parts of US This Month

Cold StickerAnother wave of frigid arctic air will hit the southern, central and eastern US later this month.

The National Weather Service says that 80% of those regions will face hazardous cold temperatures and winds.
Northern Plains, Great Lakes, Midwest, and interior New England will get hit with sub-zero temps while the Gulf Coast could also see “well below freezing” numbers.
States that could see the most hazardous conditions before the 23rd are Tennessee, Illinois, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
