A Raging River of . . . WINE?

Normally, you’d think a raging river of red wine would be something you’d want to see. But NOT if you’re from the small Portugal town of Levira. Last Sunday, two holding tanks full of wine from a big distillery broke open, and spilled around 600,000 GALLONS of red wine into the streets. The distillery is still looking into what happened, but took full responsibility and said they’ll cover the clean-up. Luckily, no one was hurt.  But at least one person’s basement flooded (mmmm . . . basement wine).
