A Record-Breaking Marshmallow?
A candy company in Mexico crushed a world record by making a single marshmallow that weighed 1,430 pounds (the previous record was 205). It was about five feet tall, and for context, that’s like one-and-a-half grand pianos (didn’t we see something similar in the first Ghostbusters movie?). It took a team of 100 people two hours to pour the mixture into a mold, then they had to wait another 48 hours for it to set. And don’t worry, it didn’t go to waste. They cut it up after the weigh-in, and handed out the pieces for free. Someone get Hershey’s and Honey Maid on the phone.
