Another Good News Story:

A bunch of people in London raised over $4,000 to send a 63-year-old street cleaner Paul Spiers on a vacation. He’d only been out of the U.K. once in his life, and wanted to take a trip to Portugal. But because city workers aren’t allowed to accept monetary gifts, he wasn’t able to accept the gift. But a clever travel website stepped in to help. They held a contest with a $4,000 trip to Portugal as the grand prize. Here were the rules to enter: You had to be between the ages of 62 and 64, be loved by your community, be a street cleaner in London, and have the last name “Spiers”. That got around the red tape, and his company okayed it. They also matched the original amount people donated.
