Are “Beer Goggles” A Myth?

In spite of what your buddies told you, a study found “beer goggles” might just be a myth. BUT, calling alcohol “liquid courage” may be more accurate. Based on looking at photos of people while drinking, there wasn’t enough “conclusive” data to say we actually find people more attractive when we’re drunk. But the study DID find we are more likely to walk up and talk to someone we DO find attractive after a few drinks. So, I guess this means if you DO have one too many drinks, and go home with an “unfortunate-looking person” . . . well . . . that’s on you now.
