Do NFL Fans Drink More Than Swifties?
Since this is the first Sunday without the NFL . . . A company that makes mobile smartphone breathalyzers, asked volunteers to submit voluntary blood-alcohol readings as they watched their NFL teams. Between September and January, they got more than 28,000 unique BAC tests. And the fanbases that drank the MOST were . . .
- The Tennessee Titans, with an average BAC of 0.09%.
- The Pittsburgh Steelers
- The Indianapolis Colts
- The Atlanta Falcons
- The New Orleans Saints
All of those fans had an average BAC of .08% or higher. And since ANYTHING football seems to involve Taylor Swift these days, they also checked the BAC levels of “SWIFTIES”. Turns out they drink MORE than Kansas City Chiefs fans! In fact, if Swifties were an NFL fanbase, they’d rank 20th, with an average BAC of 0.067%. That’s just behind Cincinnati Bengals fans, and just ahead of Buffalo Bills fans!
