Egg Prices Inspiring People to Think “Outside The Box” This Easter

With price of eggs, some people are suggesting you paint POTATOES this year for Easter. Using edible paint or water-based food coloring so the potatoes can be dyed and still eaten. However this may be more for laughs than an actual “hack.” A dozen potatoes may not be that much cheaper than a carton of eggs. I suppose if you really want to save money on eggs this Easter, consider having your kids hunt for colored ROCKS to paint. That even has the added “fun” of hunting for the rocks you want to use as a canvas. Plus, they won’t break, they could be easier to paint than potatoes, and if any of them are not found, your house won’t reek. Perhaps more importantly, it’s a pretty sneaky way to get you kids to clean up your yard for free!
