No More Carrying Around Those “Doggie Baggies”

I’m guessing the guy who invented the drone never imagined THIS . . . Caleb Olson has just unveiled an invention that he calls the “Poopcopter”. He describes it as the “world’s first aerial bound self-guided dog poop removal system.” It’s a drone that can detect a dog’s poo within a defined space, like a yard, lower itself to scoop it up, and then carry it away to dispose of it. Apparently they would be able to work on their own, like a Roomba, so you wouldn’t have to “remote-control” it. There aren’t any details on when you might be able to buy one, or how much they’d cost. Caleb says, “It’s kind of like a UFO . . . except its abducting dog poop instead of people.” (Here’s video of Caleb pitching the Poopcopter.)
