Medicare Patients To Get Lower Costs On Ten High Cost Drugs
On Thursday, the Biden administration announced a deal with pharmaceutical companies to cut prices on ten commonly used drugs.
The discount will be for people with Medicare Part D who take several high-priced prescriptions for heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
The drugs included are Eliquis, Jardiance, Xarelto, Januvia, Farxiga, Entresto, Enbrel, Imbruvica, Fiasp, and Stelara.
The price change will go into effect starting January 1, 2026.
