Microsoft has cut 650 jobs in its gaming division.

The layoffs affect workers for Xbox and the recently acquired Activision Blizzard. 

Most of the positions were primarily in corporate and support functions.

Xbox chief Phil Spencer said in a memo that “no games, devices, or experiences have been canceled” due to the layoffs.  

The latest job eliminations come a few months after Microsoft let go of 1,900 gaming employees.
