If you’re considering going out for Halloween as Barbie or The Little Mermaid, be prepared to see yourself. 

According to halloweencostumes.com, outfits from the two popular 2023 movies are the best sellers this year. 

Officially licensed Barbie costume sales are up nine times over last year. Barbie-inspired looks are selling at a 40 percent better rate than in 2022. 

Ariel’s styles have jumped 70 percent over last year. 

There’s also significant interest in  Beyoncé and Taylor Swift looks for Halloween.
