Is Capri Sun Switching Over To Bottles?
The food world was shocked last week after a rumor started about Capri Sun ditching its famous pouches for bottles!
Food blogger Snackolater posted a photo of the Capri Sun bottles on Instagram. Many people assumed that the iconic drink pouches were on the way out.
PEOPLE reached out to the makers of Capri Sun to get the scoop. A representative said, “After seeing fans’ panic to the news, the brand behind the No. 1 kids’ drink in America is reassuring everyone that the pouch is here to stay in a truly epic way.”
Capri Sun posted on Instagram, “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet — we’d never disrespect the pouch, and they’re here to stay! Starting next week you can buy a whole pallet of Capri Sun pouches. Find us at Walmart.”
The Capri Sun bottles are real, but they won’t replace the pouches. There’s no official word about when the bottles will be available.
