US Confirms Four New Bird Flu Cases
- US health officials have confirmed that four Colorado poultry workers have been diagnosed with the bird flu.
- There are now nine total cases since the outbreak began in 2022, with eight of them reported this year.
- The bird flu has been spreading since 2020, also infecting cattle in several states.
- While the threat of the virus is currently low to humans, the CDC is keeping a careful eye since earlier versions of the bird flu have been deadly to humans.
