Here Are The Best (and Worst) Times To Drive During Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend is upon us.
If you are heading out in your car for a trip, AAA has data to tell us when traffic is expected to be at its best and worst.
AAA says if you are leaving on Thursday and Friday, drivers should get on the road before 11 a.m. or after 7 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. Friday.
Saturday travelers should avoid driving between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. to beat the traffic.
On Sunday, AAA suggests leaving before 1 p.m.
Many people will be trying to get back home on Memorial Day Monday. AAA expects traffic to be less after 7 p.m.
The worst times to be on the roads are Thursday between noon and 6 p.m., Friday between noon and 7 p.m., Saturday between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., Sunday between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Monday between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
