‘WSJ’ says former Activision CEO Bobby Kottick is mulling the idea of buying TikTok as our government considers banning the app.

He floated the idea by potential partners during a business dinner.

Kottick left Activision last December after more than 30 years as the game developer’s boss, with a discrimination lawsuit following him.

His plans to buy TikTok may not matter as the government intends to vote on bill to give Chinese-linked ByteDance five months to sell off TikTok before it is banned in the US due to security concerns.
