The Doomsday Clock, which scientists symbolically use to show how close Earth is to nuclear Armageddon, will remain at 90 seconds to midnight.

While the threat of a new nuclear arms race, the Ukraine war and climate change are all causes for concern, scientists decided to keep the Doomsday Clock as close to midnight as its ever been.

The Doomsday Clock was created in 1947 by J. Robert Oppenheimer and other scientists who developed the atomic bomb.
