The University of Indiana is unveiling a statue Hoosier-born singer-songwriter John Mellencamp next month.

The heartland rocker will be in attendance for the unveiling on October 18th.

It’s not noted at this time if Mellencamp, who lives east of Bloomington, will speak or perform during the ceremony.
