McDonald’s To Get Rid of Self-Serve Soda Machines
McDonald’s plans to remove all self-serve soda machines from its restaurants by 2032.
The company says there has been less dine-in traffic since the pandemic, reducing the need for the machines.
McDonald’s also plans to either shrink or outright eliminate dining rooms from some of its stores. Digital sales now make up 40% of McDonald’s business.
