CDC: Around 18 Million Americans Have Had Long COVID
The CDC says around 7%, or 18 million, US adults have faced long COVID and nearly 4% say they’re still dealing with linger symptoms.
Those with symptoms lasting four or more weeks after a COVID diagnosis say they’re dealing with fatigue, difficulty breathing, headaches, brain fog, joint and muscle pain and continued loss of taste and smell.
Adults 35 to 49 were the most likely to have long COVID.
