Venomous Flying Spiders Will Take Over The East Coast This SummerWalking Spider Sticker

If you hate spiders, this might be a good time to step away.

According to pest experts, a giant, venomous, flying spider will be prevalent in the Eastern United States this summer.

The Joro Spiders have legs as long as four inches and have yellow and grey bodies. A Joro spider

One expert said, “What sets them apart is their ability to fly, a trait uncommon among spiders. While not accurate flight in the avian sense, Joro spiders utilize a technique known as ballooning, where they release silk threads into the air, allowing them to be carried by the wind.”

An authority on invasive species said, “Anyone that doesn’t sort of like all the creepy crawly things, this has all of the characteristics that make them squeamish.”

Even though the spiders are venomous, they are harmless to humans. The Joro’s venom is meant for other bugs that get caught in their webs.
