The US Postal Service wants to raise the price of its first-class stamps again – from 66 cents to 68 cents beginning January 21st.

Stamp prices are up 32% over the last four years. One stamp would cost you 50 cents in 2019.

First-class mail volume, however, is at its lowest. It’s down 51% since 2006.

The price hike has to be approved by the Postal Regulatory Commission before it’s official.
