Caleb Wood ordered a shake and french fries from Chick-fil-A through the GrubHub app.

Wood described what happened next. Prepare yourself to be grossed out.

He said, “When I started eating my meal upon delivery, I put a straw in my cup that was delivered and took a sip. I soon discovered that the cup delivered to me from the Grubhub driver was a warm cup of urine.”

Wood called the driver back to the house and confronted him. The customer told the delivery person, “Do you realize this is pee?”

The driver said he mixed up two Styrofoam cups and apologized. The driver admitted to working long hours without time for bathroom breaks, so he uses the cup to relieve himself.

 Wood became sick. He contacted GrubHub, and customer service took four days to get back to him.

The company refunded him only part of his order.

A representative for GrubHub said, “We took immediate action with the driver and ended his contract with us. We’re following up with the customer to apologize and are coaching the representative who was previously in touch with the customer.”
