The deadly heatwave across the US and Mexico this month was 35 times more likely due to the burning of fossil fuels, according to scientists.

Climate change has caused the average temperature for this time of year to rise by nearly 3 degrees.

World Weather Attribution says 125 people have already died because of the heat wave.
