US Energy Panel Approves Rule To Expand Renewable Power
Federal energy regulators have approved a rule to make that will make it easier to transmit renewable energy to the US power grid.
Adding solar and wind power to the already existing electric grid will meet the increasing demand from data centers, electric vehicles and buildings, plus artificial intelligence.
This change also comes as more coal-powered plants are being retired across the US.
