Universal Music Group, the world’s biggest label, will soon offer its artists AI clones of their voices.

The label will team with SoundLabs to create MicDrop, software to replicate voices for future recordings. 

The artist will retain full control over their voice model and will profit from its use.

The clone can only be used with the artist’s permission and this tech will not be made available to the public.
