750 Pound Alligator Seized From New York Home
Authorities seized an 11-foot, 750-pound alligator from a home in Hamburg, New York.
The State Department of Environmental Conservation found that the gator had “numerous health-related issues.”
The owner kept the alligator in a swimming pool and allegedly allowed people to get in the water and pet the massive animal.
Authorities said the owner’s permit to keep the gator expired in
2021. 
Another party will care for the alligator while efforts are made to find the animal a new permanent home.
