The agency asks that you should be prepared for cancellations or delays if traveling this weekend.  Check your itinerary before you leave home.  If your flight is canceled, talk to your airline about your options before you accept being rebooked.  You might find a better option to get to your destination.
If you’re hitting the road, transportation-data provider INRIX says the worst time to drive on Thursday will be between 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and on Friday between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. You’ll also want to avoid driving between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday. 
Watch your surroundings on the road, traveling over 80 miles per hour is up by 83% while traveling more than 100 miles per hour has increased by 50%.
