Most Americans still aren’t sold on the idea of owning an electric vehicle, according to a new AP Poll.46% said they are not too likely or not at all likely to purchase one.

4 in 10 say they’re only somewhat likely to buy one.

The main reasons most Americans aren’t interested in EVs are high prices and a lack of charging stations in their area.

Only 9% polled said they currently own or lease an EV.
