You need to hear this if you own an infant swing!
Fisher-Price Recalls More Than 2 Million Baby Swings Following 5 Infant Deaths
Fisher-Price has recalled more than 2 million of its Snuga Swings following 5 infant deaths.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission says the infant swing’s headrest and seat pod body can increase risk of suffocation.
If you own and are using a Snuga Swing, Fisher-Price urges you to cut out the headrest and body support, with the company offering a $25 refund for anyone who rips out and destroys the parts.
However, the commission says Fisher-Price’s solution is a “flawed recall” and wants a better remedy to keep infants safe, urging you to NOT keep the swing.
