We’re not the only ones sick of illegal robocalls – all 50 of our country’s Attorneys General have sent warning letters to 37 voice providers companies demanding that they do more to stop illegal robocalls or face consequences.

The voice providers, which offer services to make and receive calls over the internet, have been warned that they are not complying with FCC rules to reduce robocalls across their networks.  Consequences for not complying include fines or even being forced out of business.

This could reduce the number of robocalls, which have slowly declined in the last few years. 

However, crooks will likely just start sending even more scam text messages.
