You ever notice how April 1st always starts out funny… and then about two hours later it’s just exhausting?

Somebody taped your mouse.
They swapped the sugar with salt.
They told you the boss needed to see you immediately…

By lunchtime you’re suspicious of everything.

And when someone says, “Hey Steve, there’s donuts in the break room?”

Nope. Not falling for that again.

By 3 o’clock, I trust absolutely nobody except the vending machine… and even that feels risky today.
