Voter Registration Deadline Approaching
(ONN) – The deadline to register to vote is almost here.
You can register to vote either online or in person at your county’s board of elections by 9 p.m. on April 6th to vote in the May 5th primary.
Absentee ballots will start to be mailed out the next day and election officials say it’s important to give yourself plenty of time to get your ballot mailed back.
Governor DeWine signed a bill that eliminated the four-day grace period for absentee ballots at the end of last year and ballots now have to be at the board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on election day – otherwise, they won’t count.
