The Odds of Getting Peeps In Your Easter Basket This Year:

Did you know that the Easter Bunny doesn’t equally distribute Peeps? Some kids get baskets packed with Peeps, while others rarely have them, if at all (which, let’s be honest, could be a blessing in disguise). A website did a deep dive into Peeps-related data. Looking through all kinds of data, including Google search info, and Instacart sales numbers. Here are a couple “Peep Highlights”:

  1. West Virginia is the Peeps capital of the U.S. Kids there have a 35% chance of getting Peeps in their Easter baskets (followed by Pennsylvania, Wyoming, Wisconsin and Ohio).
  2. Kids in Arkansas and Montana are LEAST likely to get Peeps in their Easter baskets, both at just 12.6% (Hawaii is the third biggest Peeps wasteland, followed by California and Oregon).
