The Age When People Would Rather Sleep Than Partying All Night . . .

Have you reached the age when you no longer have the desire to close the bar down on a Saturday night? That age might be younger than you think! According to new research, the average age when people start to plan their social calendars around their SLEEP schedules, is 32 (as opposed to when you are 23, and your social life is the priority over sleep). They also found the average person will turn down plans if they begin AFTER 9pm, or BEFORE 7:36am. On average, people cancel 4 plans per month, because they need more rest. 47% of people are fine just saying NO when they don’t want to do something, while others spin elaborate excuses. 64% of people said the “best kind” of weekend is one with no plans. And the “ideal social outing” would be Friday evening, lasting two-and-a-half hours, involving 4 other people. I really can’t remember 32 anymore, but I’m at the age when my idea of a “wild night” changed from closing down the bar, to successfully staying awake through an entire movie.
