OSHP: Habitual Drunk Driver Arrested Again On Interstate 75

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Bowling Green Post received a reckless operation call from a concerned citizen on June 18, 2026, at 10:55 P.M. The caller told the dispatch center that a dark colored Ford Focus was traveling south on Interstate 75 near milepost 181 in Center Township, Wood County, Ohio. The caller stated the vehicle was swerving across the roadway and traveling at inconsistent speeds.
A Trooper from the Bowling Green Post located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop on Interstate 75 south near milepost 176. Signs of impairment were observed and the driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle impaired.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Mohammad Mifta Rahman, 26 years of age, of Reynoldsburg. Mr. Rahman was ultimately charged with Driving in Marked Lanes, Driving Under Suspension, Operating Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Domestic Violence.
Mr. Rahman has previously been convicted of Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence once in 2019, twice in 2023 and once in 2024.
