Big Weekend In San Diego
It’s time to . . . GET YOUR GEEK ON! About 7,000 Marvel fans packed the convention center hall at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. Some camping out for over 30 hours to guarantee a spot for the 40-minute panel for “Avengers: Doomsday.”
- Of course, Robert Downey Jr.was there to hype up the movie. Also onstage Chris Evans, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, David Harbour, and Kelsey Grammer. “Avengers: Doomsday” hits theaters December 18th.
- Fans at Friday’s Comic-Con session gave actor Rick Moranis a standing ovation when the 73-year-old actor took the stage as part of a panel for the upcoming “Spaceballs 2” which is set for release next April.
- And Ryan Reynoldsmay have been the biggest surprise of the weekend, as he crashed the Avengers panel presentation in disguise. He wore a never-before-seen-onscreen gray Deadpool costume, and pretended to be a cosplayer. Even getting a bunch of selfies with unsuspecting fans! He jokingly asked if there’s room for him in “Avengers: Doomsday”.
