Several Crew Members Injured On Set Of Eddie Murphy Film ‘The Pickup’
Multiple crew members were injured during a rehearsal for an action sequence on the set of Eddie Murphy’s new Amazon Studios movie, The Pickup. The incident occurred in Georgia where the feature film is currently being shot. According to the Associated Press, a truck unexpectedly crashed into a car, resulting in hospitalization for two individuals and a range of injuries from bruises to broken bones. Murphy, Keke Palmer, Pete Davidson and other stars were not present during the accident.
“The well-being of the entire crew and cast is our first priority, and we will continue to insist on the highest industry standards of safety while filming,” an Amazon Studio rep said. “All safety precautions were reviewed prior to and monitored during the shoot.”
