A woman’s home security camera in West Vancouver, British Columbia, captured a bear breaking into her house while the door was propped open for ventilation during a heatwave.

The footage shows the bear exploring the living room before heading in the direction of the kitchen. Moments later, the woman’s 6-pound Pomeranian, Scout, emerged from a side room and began barking, chasing the bear out of the house. Scout pursued the bear through the yard until it jumped over a fence.
