Here Are The Twelve Finalists For The Toy Hall of Fame

The National Toy Hall of Fame has announced 12 finalists for the Class of 2025

One of the finalists is…snow. Yes, snow is used to create snowballs and snowmen. 

Battleship, Catan, Connect Four, Spirograph, Trivial Pursuit, scooters, slime, cornhole, the “Star Wars” lightsaber, Furby, and Tickle Me Elmo are also finalists. 

The public has until September 24 to vote for their favorite toys, with the top three vote-getters forming a “Player’s Choice” ballot alongside 22 other expert ballots.

The winners will be announced in November by The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York, where the Hall of Fame is located.

To be inducted into the Hall of Fame, toys must be considered icons, engage multiple generations, foster creativity, or profoundly change play or toy design.
