United Airlines Flight Turns Around After Pilot Forgets Passport
A United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Shanghai, China, had to turn the plane around because the pilot forgot their passport.
Last Saturday, the flight was two hours outside of LA when the pilot realized the mistake.
The plane returned to San Francisco so United could sort out the situation.
There were 257 passengers onboard.
United issued a statement saying, “We arranged for a new crew to take our customers to their destination that evening. Customers were provided with meal vouchers and compensation.”
