Google is enhancing Gmail with a new AI Inbox.

The new set up is designed to improve organization and help users manage tasks, deadlines, and updates more efficiently.

The AI Inbox features two main sections: Suggested to-dos, which prioritize emails like bill pays, appointments and e-mails from your contacts, and Topics to catch up on, which categorizes things like receipts for online purchases and package delivery updates. 

A new proofreading tool will suggest better wording and structure for emails, aimed at improving overall communication clarity.

Users can turn the AI Inbox view on and off, allowing for a customizable experience that still respects traditional email management preferences.
