How long will the suspension last?

USPS Suspends Parcels from Hong Kong and China

The United States Postal Service has temporarily suspended accepting packages from Hong Kong and China.

Letters and flat parcels aren’t included in the suspension.
USPS gave no explanation or timeline for the suspension but US officials says the growth in shipments from Chinese-owned companies Shein and Temu  makes it harder to screen packages for security risks.
President Trump has also ended the duty-free exemption on packages from China worth less than $800.
Beijing isn’t happy with the new 10% tariff on Chinese goods, countering with its own 15% tariff on coal and natural gas, saying the White House is “politicizing trade.”
