88% of Americans told Lending Tree that they’ve changed how they grocery shop due to rising costs; 44% are skipping name-brand products for their generic counterparts.

61% surveyed say they have “grocery stress.” 

Even high-earners are changing habits. 85% of those who earned $100,000 or more annually say they’ve made adjustments due to the high cost of groceries.

It’s not only grocery stress Americans are facing; 59% are dining out less and 55% are approaching tipping differently.
