Ordering dinner might never be the same again.

Amazon just upgraded Alexa+ so you can talk through your food order like you’re sitting at a restaurant — not barking commands at a speaker.

Instead of saying things like “add fries” or “remove onions,” you can now have a normal conversation while Alexa updates your order in real time. Even better, it connects directly with Uber Eats and Grubhub, and remembers what you’ve ordered before. And yes… you can literally ask: “Alexa, where’s my food?”

  • The new feature represents a departure from traditional voice-command interfaces, promoting a more human-like interaction model where users can discuss their order freely, just like talking to a waiter.
  • Users can manage their orders in real-time using a new conversational window on screen-enabled devices, which shows live updates to their cart as changes are made during the conversation.
  • To access the new feature, users must link their Uber Eats or Grubhub accounts in the Alexa app, which will also synchronize past orders for easier reordering.
  • The upgrade allows users to inquire about their food’s status using the phrase, “Alexa, where’s my food?” after placing an order.

Voice assistants just got a whole lot more human.

Alexa also has a New Sassy Personality.. she may even swear at you! https://1063thefox.com/highlightedAlexaSassyPersonality
