Pepsi Plans To Cut Products and Lower Costs

PepsiCo, the company responsible for Pepsi and Frito-Lay, is planning to pass along savings to its customers.
PepsiCo plans to eliminate nearly 20 percent of its product lines by early next year to free up capital for increased marketing investment and deliver more value to consumers.
The company is ramping up the launch of new items with simpler, more functional ingredients, such as Doritos Protein and the Simply NKD range of Cheetos and Doritos.
PepsiCo has not announced which products the company will stop manufacturing.
