Over the weekend, Amazon Prime Video was facing scrutiny after producing digital posters of classic James Bond movies with 007’s signature gun airbrushed out. 

Following online backlash, Amazon removed the posters and reinstated the originals, which featured Bond brandishing the weapon.

While Amazon didn’t make an official statement, people were upset about the streaming company editing the artwork. 

One person wrote that it was “nothing less than cultural vandalism.”
