Roku Introduces $2.99 Ad-Free Streaming Service
Roku has entered the ultra-budget streaming game.
The company has introduced Howdy.
The service will offer viewers 10,000 hours of ad-free movies and television shows for only $2.99 a month.
Some of the titles available at launch include movies like “Elvis,” “Mad Max: Fury Road,” and “Back to the Future,” plus TV series like “Weeds.”
Howdy will initially be available for customers with Roku devices, but the company hopes to roll the service out to other devices soon.
